Scout - Student-led design studio providing does branding, web and graphic design, and development for startups

Generate - Student-led product development studio - focuses on mechanical, electrical, firmware and manufacturing hardware production for startups

Origin - Northeastern's premiere student-led organization for scientific & technological project incubation.Provides funding, mentorship, and ongoing support

WISE - the Women's Interdisciplinary Society of Entrepreneurship is a new student organization at Northeastern focused on building a community for women interested in exploring entrepreneurship and developing an innovative mindset through interactive workshops, a thought incubator teaching problem-solving skills, and mentorship pairings.

The Entrepreneurs Club - One of Northeastern's largest student organizations, educating, inspiring and empowering Northeastern students to become the entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders of tomorrow.

Accelerators and Incubators

WISE's WeBuild Thought Incubator - WISE's WeBuild thought incubator is a community based series of weekly innovation and design thinking classes dedicated towards encouraging a small cohort of around 12 women of interdisciplinary backgrounds to develop an entrepreneurial mindset. Scout Labs - Design thinking team solving problems in the Boston community - research civic issues using human-centered design principles. Scout Labs works in partnership with the City of Boston Mayor's Office of New Urban Mechanics

IDEA - provides entrepreneurs and the Northeastern community with the support, in-kind resources and educational experience of developing a business from core concept to launch.

Hackathons and Competitions

The Husky Startup Challenge - 5-week bootcamp that helps students establish a strong business model and go-to-market strategy for an idea - culminates with a demo day where participants pitch to venture investors and entrepreneurs

University Resources

Services Providers - Partnerships with 20+ services providing ventures with legal, marketing, sales, and tech assistance

IP Co-Lab - Provides help with patent filing and legal corporations for NU startups

Venture Mentor Network (VMN) - Pairs startups with relevant mentors

NU Sherman Center for Entrepreneurship - Entrepreneurship center that offers a Co-op program - The Sherman Center Co-Op provides entrepreneurial engineers the opportunity to focus solely on their own ventures for a six month co-op period, and are financially supported via alumni philanthropy during this time.

DMSB Entrepreneurship Department - offers undergraduate concentrations and minors related to entrepreneurship and innovation

Semester in San Francisco - Enables students to spend the semester learning in the Bay Area - completes the entrepreneurship minor requirements
